Yoga has organically & positively transformed all aspects of her life and she knew that she wanted to share this practice with others. Betty believes in passion for healthy living of the mind, body, and spirit. Her positive & supportive guidance creates a very harmonious atmosphere. Betty completed her 200 hour teacher training at Sacred Sounds Yoga and her children's Yoga teacher training at Sonic Yoga with Next Generation Yoga, both in NYC. She teaches yoga and meditation classes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. She teaches an open level class and is considered somewhat athletic based, focusing on the core, and she introduces and helps her students explore pranayama & meditation. The style and mood of each class or session is tailored to the audience she teaches. Betty has been an avid volunteer for most of her life on this beautiful planet earth. She currently sits on the advisory board for Souljourn yoga, which is a non-profit that raises awareness and funds for girls' education in developing countries.
